Don't miss a chance to unwrap your Christmas spirit this summer with these special Christmas In July events!

Christmas Movies at the Washita Theater

Chickasha Community Theatre is proud to partner with the Chickasha EDC and Chamber of Commerce in Christmas In July activities.
Every Thursday night in July, beginning July 9th, CCT and the EDC will show Christmas movies inside the Washita Theater, 509 Chickasha Ave, starting at 7pm.

There is no admission charge. CCT will sell concessions as a fundraiser to help them “bridge the gap” until their shows can resume. Please no outside food or drinks.
Local restaurants are also helping to sponsor our concession fundraising.

Show Times
 July 9th, 7:00 P.M.

 Jingle All the Way

July 16th, 7:00 P.M.

Miracle on 34th Street
July 23rd, 7:00 P.M. Home Alone
July 30th, 7:00 P.M. The Greatest Showman

CCT asks the public to wear masks in their lobby, at concessions, and in the restrooms, where social distancing is difficult. Seating will be sectioned off to provide appropriate distance between individuals or families.

Festival of Light Christmas Tree

It was also suggested to Chickasha Mayor Chris Mosley that the large Christmas tree at Shannon Springs Park be lit throughout the month of July. The City Council approved this request and, in fact, the lights will be turned on starting July 1.

Adopt a Lighted Christmas Display

The Chickasha Festival of Light had the idea to create a campaign in July to help “adopt” lighted displays for their 2020 season, as well as encourage residents to begin to think about ways they could help out – volunteering, sponsorships or donations.
