The Chickasha Chamber Unveils New Logo
The Chickasha Chamber of Commerce recently unveiled a new, updated logo. Both the logo and new branding guidelines were created by Chickasha Chamber member Kristen McGregor of Oh18.
The Chamber’s new logo highlights the past while focusing on the future. At first glance, the logo looks like one c, but it is actually a modern take on a logo with three Cs that was used by the Chamber in the 6 70s. The color is a combination of navy and blue. Blue tones in color psychology represent trustworthiness, loyalty, dependability, and integrity.
“We’ve been discussing updating the Chamber logo for months. Although we want to continue to build upon the continuity between the City of Chickasha, the Chickasha Economic Development Council, and other entities that share our previous logo, we also wanted to set ourselves apart. It is important for our members and the Chickasha community to recognize the Chamber as a membership-based, non-profit. Kristen did a fantastic job of helping us with this vision,” said Cassandra Ersland, Chamber President.

Chickasha Chamber Welcomes Ribbon Cutting Season
Posted: May 13, 2021
It is an exciting time to be part of the Chickasha Chamber! Ribbon cutting event invitations are going out left and right. The most recent celebrations have been at Tammie's Bling Boutique and the Salvation Army of Grady and Caddo Counties.
Ribbon cuttings have a long tradition with the Chickasha Chamber. A 1984 Annual Report of the Chickasha Chamber boosted more than 80 different ground-breakings, dedications, and ribbon-cuttings. More so, ribbon cuttings have been a tradition throughout the history of the United States and Europe. During the opening of the Disneyland Monorail in 1959, one executive said, "ribbon cuttings have always heralded the arrival of fresh wonders and great excitement."
Much like at Walt Disney, the modern-day ribbon-cutting ceremonies the Chamber has adopted represent new beginnings. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will often include government officials, neighboring business owners, community partners and the community at large.
A red ribbon is stretched across the front of the business by Chamber Ambassadors to welcome new partners into the Chamber Family. These events are an important first promotion and connection with the Chickasha business community. Everyone gathers around behind the ribbon and the business owner(s) prepare to cut the ribbon with our oversized, blue scissors. The ribbon is cut, the crowd goes wild and pictures are taken.
The Chickasha Chamber of Commerce looks forward to future ribbon cuttings and continuing to create a thriving community where individuals want to live, work and spend their money.
