Education: High school diploma or its equivalent. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to follow oral and written instructions; read, write, and maintain simple records; must be able to use janitorial equipment and supplies; must perform moderately strenuous work.
Responsibilities:
Sweeps, mops, vacuums and performs basic janitorial procedures. 2. Dusts, polishes, and cleans furniture in common areas and other areas as requested. Fabric upholstered furnishings are to be vacuumed. 3. Cleans windows, doors, mirrors, glass partitions, baseboards, jambs, trim and walls. Maintain sanitization of restrooms. Empty and clean waste receptacles. 4. Mixes various cleaning agents and use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces. 5. Maintains equipment and materials used to fulfill tasks and replenish supplies. Keep simple records of work performed and materials used. 6. Ability to use vacuum cleaner, basic equipment and knowledge for carpet care. . 7. Uses safe and sanitary work practices when cleaning facilities and using cleaning chemicals. 8. Performs other duties as assigned.
