CHICKASHA CHAMBER EVENTS UPDATE
Chamber Events are returning gradually! We are adding new events to our calendar for 2024 but are still taking steps to ensure the safety of our members and the entire Chickasha community.

ANNUAL AND YEAR-ROUND EVENTS INCLUDE:
CHAMBER BANQUET & AUCTION
An event typically held at the beginning of the year to celebrate the success of the Chamber and Chickasha. This dynamic event features a recap of the previous year, a preview of the upcoming year, and an auction offering many great items. The Banquet is also held to honor the outgoing Chamber Chairman and recognize a variety of outstanding Chamber Members including the new Chamber Chairman.

CHAMBER CONNECTS
Connecting is the key to networking. Chamber Connects is a free, monthly event for all Chickasha Chamber of Commerce Members to come and network with one another while enjoying light refreshments provided by the host member. This event is hosted in a different Member business each month and is a great way for members to get to know one another while learning about the diverse business culture Chickasha has to offer.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY
Christmas in July started in 2020 as a ShopChickasha promotion and has turned into a month long celebration. From multiple events throughout the month including our 4th of July Parade in Shannon Springs Park and ending with the Christmas In July Block Party which is set for the last Saturday of the month.

CHRISTMAS PARADE
It is, in fact, the most wonderful time of the year. This event brings the spirit of Christmas to Chickasha in a joyful holiday parade down Main Street. With more than 1,000 attendees, the parade showcases around 50 floats from businesses and community groups in and around Chickasha.
This event will be on December 7th. Keep a look out on our Facebook and Instagram for themes and application information.
GOLF CLASSIC
For more than 30 years, the Golf Classic has been a perfect mix of business and pleasure. The Chickasha Chamber's Annual Golf Classic is our annual membership golf tournament hosted at one of our member golf clubs. It's a day on the fairway to enjoy other chamber members while creating networking opportunities and build community relationships that can get you through the rough or hazards. Each tournament yields multiple four-person teams playing a scramble format. Teams enjoy 18 holes of golf, breakfast, lunch, and swag bags.

LEGISLATIVE UPDATES
Hear from state legislative leadership and gain important insight into the upcoming legislative session. This event features Chickasha's State Senators and Representative's introductions of the bills they will introduce along with an overall synopsis of the previous legislative session. This event is an astounding opportunity for member companies interested in state legislation to hear from lawmakers themselves.

LEADERSHIP CHICKASHA HAPPY HOUR
Connect back with your Leadership Chickasha Class and other Alumni as we welcome the newest Leadership Chickasha Graduates. The Leadership Chickasha Happy Hour is a come-and-go event open to all Leadership Chickasha Alumni.
The Leadership Chickasha Happy Hour is March 14th. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for additional information on upcoming events and follow Leadership Chickasha on Facebook.
MANUFACTURING LUNCHEON
The Manufacturing Luncheon brings together companies that have a significant economic impact on Chickasha's community. It offers members of those in the manufacturing business an opportunity to share information about trends, new developments, and other news regarding their company and products. This event is a highly anticipated networking, social gathering, and business lunch.
The event is typically held in the fall. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for additional information on upcoming events.
OCTOBERFEST
Chickasha shouldn't only be known for Christmas but for Halloween as well. Chickasha Octoberfest combines two events that bring a spooky culture to our downtown. Fright Night started in 2023 and is just for the adults bringing a halloween costume parade into our downtown.
The second event is an old tradition, Neewollah is the Chickasha's Trick-or-Treat extravaganza. The Chamber teams up with other businesses to bring a safe and fun Halloween celebration for the community.

PROFESSIONAL WOMEN SERIES
This series includes multiple networking opportunities for Chickasha's women leaders. Sorry boys, this is an event just for the girls. The event will include a series of lunches promoting networking and insight on many issues affecting working women. Women's Wednesdays was added in 2023 and serves as a monthly networking event for our Professional Women's Network.

RIBBON CUTTING & GRAND OPENINGS
Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings welcome our new partners into the Chamber and are open to all! Ribbon Cuttings also are held for existing partners for new locations, celebrations, or new exhibits.
Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings are normally scheduled during the week and are scheduled to the member's discretion. For up-to-date information about these events please follow our Facebook or Instagram pages.
ROCK ISLAND WEEKEND
Rock Island Weekend is combination of the Rock Island Arts Festival, Oklahoma Food Truck Championship, Rock Island Ride and ICAN's Together We Heel Walk. This weekend is scheduled for September 27-28th. For more information check out the official Rock Island Weekend page here.
STATE OF EDUCATION
This event features an informative program about the state of Chickasha area schools from elementary to higher education. This event gives an opportunity to hear directly from school leadership about the progress being made to turn the Chickasha Public School District into a model school district.
