Since its inception in 2020, Christmas in July has brought a wave of festive cheer to the heart of Chickasha. What started as a single block party has grown into a month-long celebration packed with holiday magic in the middle of summer! From water slides and foam parties to Cycle Santa, snow cones, games, and movies in the park, there’s always something cool happening—even in the heat! And guess what? We’ve got even more fun surprises in store for 2025!

8th Annual Fireworks Spectacular
Join SaltCreek Casino on July 3rd from 5-10 PM as we celebrate our 8th annual Fireworks Spectacular with an incredible firework show featuring food trucks, family fun, retail vendors and more!
Festival of Freedom
Celebrate the Festival of Freedom on July 4th at Shannon Springs Park! Enjoy a full day of fun with the pool open 10 AM–6 PM, games, a costume contest, and free watermelon from 4–6 PM. Don’t miss the Parade of Stars & Handlebars at 6 PM, live music by Southern Sailor Band, food trucks, Cade’s Cones, train rides, and fireworks at dark!
Parade of Stars & Handlebars
Get ready to roll in the Parade of Stars & Handlebars on July 4th! Starting at 6 PM at 12th & Montana and ending at the 9th Street park entrance, this fun and festive ride welcomes bikes, scooters, golf carts, motorcycles, and ATVs.
Entry is just $10 per person/household or $25 per group/club, with proceeds going to a local cause. Cycle Santa will be joining the parade, and Tim’s train will wrap up the route and offer rides through the park after!
Christmas CoolDown Block Party
Get ready to beat the heat at our Christmas in July Cooldown Block Party on Friday, July 26 in downtown Chickasha! Join us on the 100 block of Chickasha Avenue (by the Leg Lamp) from 6–9 PM for water slides, a foam party, games, snow cones, and a special visit from Cycle Santa! Stick around for a movie in the park at 9:30 PM under the summer stars. 🎬✨ Local vendors welcome—message us to get involved!
